Akre is one of the oldest city in Kurdistan. Was found around 1000BC. Akre started on a side of mountain than it grew biger and still fast growing city. Akre is one of the famouse city in Kurdistan is famouse for the rice, naron (hinar). There are many hisrorical places in Akre for exmple Kele,Six Abdil Azizi and ect. There is a pool that called Kanizerke and the waterfall Sipe allot of people from all around Kurdistan visit there every Summer there is more parks and waterfalls colse to Akre Geli Zinta, Hestka, Gerbise and ect. The close city to Akre is Amediye the only thing that divide them is the mountain.
